Marlon is the CEO of MDG health solutions and Afrisky Holdings (pty) Ltd. He has vast industry experience that entail being a managing director of Dinaledi medical, Philips Healthcare South Africa and Stryker South Africa. Marlon is also a director of the South African Medical Devices Industry Association, chairman of Medical Devices Manufacturers Association of South Africa and a chairperson of the Health and Wellness committee (American Chamber of Commerce). He is passionate about entrepreneur development and offers mentorship services to entrepreneurs. Marlon has assisted a number of startups in accessing both the local and international markets
Ms Sylvia Lekaoa

Sylvia is a Civil Engineer with B-Tech in Construction Management. She is a registered member of ECSA and SAICE and has successfully completed the “Women in Leadership” programme at GIBS as well as attended the 9th South African Young Geotechnical Engineers conference. She worked for Aveng Ground Engineering for 12 years where she started as a Site Engineer and worked her way up. Having noticed that there was a severe lack of women in the Geotechnical Engineering Industry, she founded TNT 888 Trading and Projects (Pty) Ltd, specialist geotechnical engineering services provider where she currently serves as MD.
Prof Shirley Motaung

Keolebogile Shirley Motaung is a professor, biomedical scientist and Assistant Dean: Research, Innovation and Engagement in the Faculty of Science at the Tshwane University of Technology. She is the President of the African Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society. is manufacturing a natural anti-inflammatory ointment/cream: La-Africa Soother (LAS) from medicinal plants. The product offers athletes, sportsmen and women an alternative natural anti-inflammatory cream/ointment. Prof Motaung has received wide recognition on various platforms and competitions that include: the Top Inventor of the year (2018); Distinguished Woman Scientist (Research and Innovation);, South African Women in Science Awards (2018);Inspiring Fifty SA Women (2018); National Science and Technology Forum (NSTF) South32 Innovation Award (Cooperate Organization, 2017/18); Most Innovative Woman of the Year in Gauteng (2018); Biotech Fundi Research Award (2017); GAP Biosciences winner (2015); Gauteng Legislature’s Community Heroine award of the VITA BASADI Awards (2017); . FemBioBiz Pitching Den (2017); and a top 10 nominee for the 2018 Innovation Prize for Africa.
